Brushed Zodiac

Here is the completed Brushed Zodiac. The Chinese characters there are the Chinese for the animals (that's kind of a no brainer); they are lined up in the same manner as the actual drawings of the animals. Some of the animals I like better than others, but I'm actually rather happy with the way they turned out; except the horse and the dragon. I don't like the way those two turned out but it was the best that I could do (could have been better).

Anyway, I did this all with Flash. I've been working on this project since mid march at about an hour at a time except for this last session. This last session was maybe two hours. Overall it was about seven maybe eight hours total (this is my guestimate), this gives you a good idea of how often (or not) I worked on it. I used references for all the animals simply for anatomy reference. I did not copy anything. I had someone ask me how I was drawing them.

Brush; Smoothing: 100; look at references; come up with pose; draw. It's really that simple.

I've decided to allow commercial use on this one. I'm not sure why. Consider it my gift to...someone...perhaps the proverbial they/them?
